Prof. John Pasi is a Consultant Haematologist currently working as Professor of Haemostasis and Thrombosis at Barts, London. Formerly he was a Professor of Haematology at the University of Leicester.
Prof. John Pasi graduated from University of Birmingham. After graduating, he did his training in haematology at the Birmingham Children's Hospital from where he took his PhD research. In 1993, he took up a consultant post soon after finishing his training at the Royal Free Hospital. Dr Pasi is a member of the Department of Health VTE advisory Group, Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians, Royal College of Pathologists, Royal College of Pediatrics and Child Health and General Medical Council.
Prof. John Pasi has a keen interest in Haemostasis, thrombosis and gene therapy. His other interests include pulmonary thromboembolism, bleeding disorders and thrombotic disorders.

Professor John Pasi is the most knowledgeable thrombosis doctor in London - you cannot get a better opinion for patients diagnosed with deep vein thrombosis or pulmonary embolus. Very good advice provided about anti-coagulant therapy.
