Dr Elliot Smith is a consultant cardiologist. His areas of clinical expertise includes Cardiology Interventional Cardiology, Coronary Angioplasty, Stenting, Chronic Total Occlusion, Rotational Atherectomy, Trans-radial intervention, Coronary artery disease, Rotablator therapy, General Cardiology, Valvular Heart Disease, Chest pain, Angina, Breathlessness, Palpitations and Heart Failure.
Dr Elliot Smith is actively involved in research into new technologies, CTO treatment, and percutaneous cardiac support. He is a Director of the Cardiovascular Training Institute (CVTI) at Barts Health NHS Trust, a dedicated facility delivering practical skills training in invasive and interventional cardiology. He has developed simulator training programmes and courses for future specialists, and regularly participates in live case demonstrations to colleagues nationally and internationally.

A truly brilliant cardiologist, who really listens to his patients, with a lovely bedside manner and also very involved in teaching and NHS work. From personal experience, he treated my father with care, compassion and courtesy and involves his patients in decisions about their care. I have no reservations recommending him.
