Mr Paul Cathcart is a Consultant Urologist at both Bart's Health and University College Hospital London. He is a Senior Lecturer in Genitourinary Oncology at St. Bartholomew's Hospital, London.
His main interests are diagnosis and management of men with suspected prostate cancer. Paul Cathcart is one of the designated robotic pelvic cancer surgeons at University College Hospital London. He completed a robotic and uro-oncology fellowship in Melbourne Australia. Mr Paul Cathcart was an NIHR Academic Clinical Lecturer at University College Hospital London.
Mr Paul Cathcart has research interests in evaluating outcomes after cancer treatment together with studying prostate cancer epidemiology. His recent research was on evaluating the benefit of radical prostate cancer therapy in the older man and is one of the clinical leads on the National Prostate Cancer Audit. His clinical interests include nerve-sparing, radical prostatectomy, prostate cancer, salvage-robotic, robotic surgery and urological cancers. He is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons.
