Mr Rizwan Hamid is a Consultant Urologist. He has a wide range of experience in urological surgery, including extensive training in neuro-urology as well as reconstructive and female urology. He is particularly interested in the care of neurological patients with urological problems, focusing on neuropathic bladder dysfunction.
Mr Rizwan Hamid graduated from Quaid-E-Azam Medical College. His postgraduate research was based at the Spinal Injuries Unit, Stanmore, during which time he gained invaluable experience in the management of complex urological problems in neuropathic patients.
Rizwan has academic and teaching links with the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital and University College London Hospitals, and currently teaches on the MSc and Diploma courses. He has published a number of peer-reviewed publications on neuropathic bladder dysfunction, incontinence and reconstructive surgery.
His clinical expertise includes urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, urinary tract infections' bladder dysfunction, neurourology diseases and prostate pain syndromeser. Mr Rizwan Hamid is a member of Protection Society, British Association of Urological Surgeons, European Association of Urology, BAUS Section of Female Urology and International Spinal Cord Injury Society.
