    Dr Kathy Taghipour is a consultant dermatologist at the Whittington Health NHS Trust where she is the lead physician for skin cancer services and specialist autoimmune blistering disease clinics. She consults on all aspects of dermatology with a special interest in diagnosing and treating skin cancers, diseases of female genital skin and blistering skin diseases. She is an expert at surgical and non-surgical removal of benign and malignant lesions.

    After graduating in medicine from the Faculty of Medicine in Gothenburg University in Sweden, Dr Taghipour completed her training in Dermatology in the Oxford deanery in 2010. She then achieved a medical doctorate in research from King's College London, conducting clinical and laboratory research at Oxford University Hospitals and St John's Institute of Dermatology laboratories in the field of autoimmune blistering diseases.

    Dr Taghipour is actively involved in teaching University College London medical students as well as training hospital doctors and GPs. She has lectured internationally, published a number of papers in peer-reviewed journals and has contributed many book chapters.
