Dr Christopher McNamara is a consultant haematologist in the lymphoma service at University College London Hospital. With 15 years of continuous experience in clinical haematology, he has been involved in the development of national treatment guidelines for the British Committee for Standardisation in Haematology and, internationally, for the European Society of Medical Oncology. He has worked extensively in the development of new therapies and clinical trials, notably in the field of radio-immunotherapy for Hodgkin’s lymphoma patients.

Dr McNamara qualified in medicine in 1994 from the University of Queensland before getting fellowship of the Royal Australasian College of Physicians and Pathologists (FRACP) and the Royal College of Pathologists (FRCPath). He is also involved in teaching, examinations and quality assurance programs in the field of haematology.
