    Frequently asked questions

  • What are the common symptoms that your patients tend to present with?

Most of them come with pain. I see a lot of spinal issues. Hence, patients often present with pins and needles, numbness, weakness, etc. I also see patients with neck issues, and these patients present with headache, dizziness, loss of orientation and things like that.

  • What are the treatments that you're able to offer your patients?

The treatments will be a bespoke combination of manual therapy, which can consist of soft tissue massage, deep tissue massage, medical acupuncture, dry needling, joint manipulation, mobilization and, importantly, the reciprocal exercise therapy which would include strengthening and all of those aspects as well.

  • What are your areas of sub-specialist interest?

My subspecialty is spinal, particularly lower back and neck (lumbar and cervical). I also specialize in shoulders and treatment of tendinopathies or tendon pain. I also specialize in sensory and motor training for patients who have more complex neck issues with dizziness, loss of orientation and concussion. I also use blood flow restriction training as well for lower limb issues.
