Could you please tell us a bit more about the treatments that you're able to offer your patients?

Apart from comprehensive review of cardiac health, I can offer them optimisation of drug treatments, improvements in blood pressure control, treatments of heart failure and drug treatments of cardiac rhythm disturbances. I also offer specialty treatments including balloon angioplasty and stenting of coronary arteries. I undertake coronary angiograms for people who need cardiac surgery.

Within the NHS, I work with teams who deliver keyhole valve surgery – I'm part of that group – and cardioversion for rhythm disturbances.

Can you tell us a bit more about your subspecialist interests?

My subspecialist interest is interventional cardiology. I focus on treatments of heart attacks and angina, but I'm also involved in programs for keyhole surgery or valve disease.
