    With over two decades of experience, Dr Nurhan Sutcliffe (MD, FRCP) is a General Rheumatologist at Barts Health NHS Trust. As a rheumatologist, she looks after patients with different musculoskeletal problems that can manifest in a variety of ways including joint, muscle and bone pains. She also has specialist interests in gout and inflammatory arthritis, including rheumatoid arthritis. She has a specialist interest in Sjogren’s syndrome and runs a multispecialty Sjogren’s clinic.

    Dr Sutcliffe trained as a rheumatologist in Manchester and London. During her training, she carried out research in Sjogren's syndrome and systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and obtained her MD from University College London. She has published a series of scientific papers relating to Sjogren's syndrome and SLE.

    Dr Sutcliffe is a member of the medical council of the British Sjogren's Syndrome Association (BSSA), the British Society of Rheumatology, the Royal College of Physicians and the British Medical Association.
