Information we may collect from you

  • Information that you provide by filling in forms on our site (our site). This includes information provided at the time of registering (if you are a GP or a Specialist) to use our site, posting recommendations or other material or using the search facilities on our site. We may also ask you for information when you report a problem with our site.

  • Personal Data we may collect are: Name, Contact details, Demographic data, Login credentials, IP Address, Cookies, Interests and favourites, Email content (to and via myHealthSpecialist)

  • If you contact us, we may keep a record of that correspondence.

  • We may also from time to time ask you to complete surveys that we use for research purposes, although you do not have to respond to them.

  • If you are a Specialist or a GP, details of recommendations that you make through our site.

  • Details of your visits to our site including, but not limited to, traffic data, anonymous search history of users of the site who are not GPs and Specialists, location data, weblogs and other communication data and the resources that you access.

  • If you are a GP or a Specialist, IP addresses, user agent string and user identifiable logging of search history.   

IP addresses

We may collect information about your computer, including where available your IP address, operating system and browser type, for system administration and to report aggregate information to our advertisers. This is statistical data about our users' browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify any individual.


Our website uses cookies to distinguish you from other users of our website. This helps us to provide you with a good experience when you browse our website and also allows us to improve our site.

Where we store your personal data

The data that we collect from you is normally processed and stored within the European Economic Area ("EEA"). We reserved the right to process and store personal data outside of the EEA, however we will ensure that the appropriate data protection standards are adhered to. It may also be processed by our staff operating outside the EEA who work for us or for one of our suppliers. Such staff may be engaged in, among other things, the provision of support services. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy and the Data Protection Act 2018.

All information you provide to us is stored on our secure servers. Any payment transactions will be encrypted using SSL technology.   • To notify you about changes to our service.
  • To compile statistical data and analyses, providing that this will not enable the identification of individuals.

Access to information

However, if the request is considered to be highly complex we may invoke our right to extend this period to three months.
