    Mr Alastair Henderson is a Consultant Urologist who recently joined Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells NHS Trust in 2010.

    Mr Alastair Henderson was an undergraduate at Imperial College and St. Mary’s Hospital, London. He undertook his initial training in London, Oxford and Bristol and then a PhD on prostate cancer. Mr Alastair Henderson’s postgraduate training was at Guy's Hospital London as well as Frimley, Epsom, East Surrey and the Royal Surrey County Hospital in Guildford. The training included visits to Seattle where Brachytherapy treatment was pioneered at the Seattle Prostate Institute and over two years at Guy’s Hospital learning robotic and laparoscopic surgery.

    Apart from this he is a reviewer for several scientific Journals, which have included the Lancet, European Urology, Journal of Urology and the British Journal of Urology International.

    He does his clinical practice on all aspects of general urology. He is a member of Royal College of Surgeons of England, British Medical Association, British Association of Urological Surgeons, Royal College of Surgeons and General Medical Council. He is an expert in andrology, benign prostate diseases, bladder / kidney stone disease, bladder cancer, erectile dysfunction, female urology, incontinence, paediatric urology and prostate cancer.
