    Frequently asked questions

  • What are the common symptoms that your patients tend to present with?

The most common reason for people to present to the clinic is because they are in pain. This might be after an acute injury, work-related or for no obvious reason. The second most common would be post-surgical rehabilitation.

  • What are the treatments that you're able to offer your patients?

Treatment usually involves strength-based rehabilitation and load management, assessment and education of the contributing factors and cause of injuries. Treatment might also include manual therapy, spinal mobilisation, spinal manipulation, muscular dry needling, taping or other adjuncts to help settle pain to allow people to rehabilitate their injuries.

  • What are your areas of sub-specialist interest?

Shoulder, spinal and knee are the three regions I specialise in and see the most frequently. I work closely with leading specialists in London to rehabilitate their patients before and after surgery. I also have experienced being a patient, having had a lot of shoulder issues as a kid which led me to be a physio to help people who are in similar situations.

I worked in a specialist spinal clinic in Melbourne, specialising in strength-based low back pain rehabilitation. I also have a particular interest in sporting knee injuries, both acute knee injuries and post-surgery. I incorporate a lot of robust strength-based training into my clients’ rehabilitation plans.
