Dr Devina Maru is a General Practitioner, Co-Deputy Director for Primary Care at UCL Medical School, and a health coach trainer. She practices as a private GP in Marylebone/Harley Street and Chancery Lane.
She has extensive experience in both national and international healthcare policy, as well as medical education. She is a recipient of multiple national awards, including the national NHS Rising Star Parliamentary Award, and was invited to meet the King at Buckingham Palace and 10 Downing Street in recognition of her contributions to healthcare. She is passionate about health, lifestyle and preventive medicine.
She has a diverse range of clinical and business experience after obtaining her MBA and is a co-founder of Health Pioneers Charity, helping reduce health and education inequalities amongst young people in lower socio-economic deprived areas.
She was selected for the National Medical Director Fellowship, a highly competitive prestigious scheme to develop a growing pool of future medical leaders who will go on to shape healthcare in this country.
