Dr Ladan is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in hand and wrist surgery for both adults and children. She has been a consultant since 2012 and is based at the University Hospital of South Manchester, Wythenshawe, where she manages an extensive NHS practice.

Dr Ladan graduated from the University of Dundee and completed her junior training in Newcastle and Glasgow. She then pursued her specialist orthopaedic training in Leicester, earning numerous prestigious prizes. Further honing her expertise, she completed a fellowship at the renowned Pulvertaft Hand Unit in Derby.

Her areas of expertise encompass a wide range of hand and wrist disorders, including both soft tissue and degenerative conditions. She is proficient in treating trigger finger, Dupuytren's disease, thumb arthritis, complex wrist fractures, scaphoid fractures, and more. Dr Ladan is also skilled in managing nerve disorders of the hand, wrist, and elbow, as well as ligament injuries and ganglions in both adult and paediatric patients.

In addition to her clinical practice, Dr Ladan is deeply involved in medical education. She regularly teaches on the Leicester Wrist Fracture Management Course and the University of Manchester Cadaveric Course. She also serves as an Honorary Senior Lecturer and the Hand and Wrist Lead for postgraduate MSc students at the University of Salford. She is an active member of the British Society for Surgery of the Hand (BSSH).

Dr Ladan has made significant contributions to medical research, having completed her MD on hand flexor tendon treatment. She has published and presented numerous scientific papers at national and international meetings.

Outside of her professional life, Dr Ladan is married and has a son. She enjoys a variety of hobbies, including ceramic pottery, running, cycling, skiing, and practising archery with her son.
