Miss Lyndsey Highton is a highly skilled Consultant Plastic and Breast Surgeon based at The Nightingale Centre, Manchester University NHS Trust. She specialises in breast surgery, breast reconstruction, and cosmetic breast and body contouring surgery.

Miss Highton is one of the few surgeons worldwide to be accredited in both Plastic and Breast Surgery. She is listed on the General Medical Council Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery and is a Fellow of the European Board of Breast Surgery.

Her practice encompasses all aspects of breast disease, breast cancer, and breast reconstruction. She is proficient in the latest oncoplastic techniques, implant and microsurgical breast reconstruction, and complex revisional surgery. Miss Highton also performs cosmetic breast surgeries such as augmentation, reduction, uplift, and male breast reduction, as well as body contouring surgeries including abdominoplasty, arm lift, and thigh lift. She treats developmental breast problems such as tuberous breast and asymmetry.

Miss Highton offers a personalised approach to deliver attractive and long-lasting results. She places great importance on making patients feel comfortable and ensuring they have a full understanding of treatment options, surgery, and the recovery process.

She earned her medical degree from the world-renowned University of Oxford. After completing her foundation training in Oxford, she returned to the North West to complete her Speciality Registrar training in Plastic Surgery. She became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England and further specialised by completing the prestigious National Oncoplastic Breast Fellowship at the Nightingale Breast Centre. This fellowship allowed her to develop expertise in all aspects of breast surgery, reconstruction, and aesthetic surgery. She is also a Fellow of the European Board of Breast Surgery and was awarded 1st prize in this examination.
