    Mr Nicholas Morris is one of the leading independent Consultant Gynaecologists and Obstetricians in London. His primary areas of interest are gynaecological surgery including laparoscopic surgery, vaginal surgery, and treatment for pelvic pain, polycystic ovaries and heavy periods. His main gynaecological interests are pelvic pain and endometriosis, and the treatment of heavy periods. He was one of the pioneers of the Novasure Endometrial Ablation (the 3-minute hysterectomy) treatment and has also established ‘one-visit clinics’ for gynaecology in Central London. He has been a pioneer of women’s health and has established the first UK clinic to help women who had been victims of female genital mutilation. His private practice is based at the Portland Hospital in Central London, and the Wellington Hospital in St John’s Wood and Golders Green. He also consults at the Wellington Platinum Centre and the Wellington Diagnostic Centre in Golders Green. In Knightsbridge, he sees patients and operates at the Cadogan Clinic in Sloane Street.

    Mr Morris qualified from St Mary’s Hospital Medical School in 1984, and was awarded membership of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (RCOG) in 1991. In 1993, he became the RCOG’s WellBeing Training Fellow. He became an NHS Consultant in 1997, when he was also appointed Senior Clinical Research Fellow at Imperial College. In 2007, he was awarded the Fellowship of the RCOG.

    Mr Morris has written numerous publications in journals such as the British Journal of Obstetrics and Gynaecology and European Journal of Clinical Investigation. He regularly lectures at meetings, and runs the CME education at the Portland Hospital. He also writes a blog on the Huffington Post.
