    Frequently asked questions

  • What are the common symptoms that your patients tend to present with?

For my elective practice, they generally come with either a hip pain or knee pain because these are my areas of special interest.

For emergency surgery, it's all about trauma-related injuries, like accidents and trauma injured patients, that I deal with.

  • What are the treatments that you're able to offer your patients?

I am essentially a trauma surgeon who fixes all sorts of fractures. For my elective work, I do all kinds of hip and knee joint replacements – primary and revision replacements, unicompartmental knee replacements, patellofemoral replacements, arthroscopic surgery of the knee among others.

  • What are your areas of sub-specialist interest?

My subspecialist interest is essentially surgery for arthritis of hip and knee. I specialise in difficult primary joint replacements and revision hip and knee replacements.
