Mr Wiqqas Jamil is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specialising in all aspects of knee surgery and primary hip replacement. He studied medicine at the University of Leeds and completed his higher surgical training with the North West Orthopaedic training programme.

In addition to his training in the North West, Mr Jamil has completed regional, national, and international fellowships for his specialisation in knee surgery. He received the British Orthopaedic Foundation Travelling Fellowship for his international work.

Mr Jamil is actively involved in research and has presented his work in numerous publications and meetings internationally. He has published academic articles in peer-reviewed journals and serves as an Advanced Trauma Life Support instructor and University PBL tutor.

Mr Jamil practises at The Alexandra Hospital and The Wilmslow Hospital in Cheshire, as well as The Highfield Hospital in Lancashire. He takes pride in his high standards of surgery and has a special interest in accelerated recovery after hip and knee surgery.
