Mr Kelvin Ramsey is a Consultant Plastic & Reconstructive Surgeon at The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust. After leaving Cambridge University, he completed both his basic training in general surgical specialties and his Specialist training in Plastic surgery within the Pan Thames region. At the end of his training he was awarded Specialist Fellowships in Microsurgery at the Charing Cross and Royal Marsden Hospitals, London and also in Melbourne, Australia.
He is a trained Microsurgeon who regularly performs complex reconstructions for a wide range of tumour types including skin, sarcoma, breast and head/neck cancer. In particular he specialises in breast reconstruction, abdominal / perineal reconstruction and supermicrosurgery for lymphoedema.
He is a core member of skin cancer and oncoplastic breast MDTs.
Mr Ramsey is entered on the GMC Specialist Register for Plastic Surgery and is a member of BAPRAS. He has published and lectured widely and is actively involved in research, in particular in the field of lymphatico-venous anastomosis surgery for lymphoedema.
