Dr Agata Grasso is a highly qualified and experienced Consultant Cardiologist based in the UK. She completed her medical training in Italy and at London's Hammersmith Hospital, where she also undertook her MD research project focusing on cardiac imaging and heart failure. Dr Grasso further honed her expertise in heart failure, valve disease, and cardiac imaging at the Pitie' Salpetriere in Paris.

From 2003 to 2006, Dr Grasso served as a Consultant Cardiologist in Alba, Turin, Italy, with a special interest in imaging. She then moved to London in 2006, joining the Royal Brompton Hospital, where she worked in the CMR department and cardiomyopathy/heart failure clinics until 2011. During this period, she was actively involved in various research projects aimed at improving the understanding, diagnosis, prognosis, and treatment of cardiac diseases through advanced imaging techniques.

In 2013, Dr Grasso was appointed as a Consultant Cardiologist at Wexham Park Hospital, where she led the Heart Failure service. She successfully established a comprehensive Heart Failure service that prioritised patient-centred care. Since January 2016, she has been a Consultant Cardiologist at The Royal Free Hospital, where she continues to lead significant improvements in one of London's largest NHS trusts.

Dr Grasso is passionate about her work and is dedicated to ensuring that patients and their families are fully supported throughout their medical journey. Her areas of expertise include adult echocardiography, stress echocardiograms, contrast echocardiograms, TOE, CMR, and various cardiac monitoring techniques. She treats a wide range of conditions, including heart failure, valve disease, ischaemic heart disease, cardiomyopathy, palpitations, and hypertension.
