About Mr Ahmed Abou-Zeid
Mr Ahmed Abou-Zeid is a consultant neurosurgeon specialising in spinal surgery, with a particular interest in minimally invasive and endoscopic techniques. His NHS practice is based at the Greater Manchester Neuroscience Centre at Salford Royal, one of the country’s busiest neurosurgery units.
He provides a range of treatment options, including non-surgical care and spinal injections, and performs operations often utilising keyhole or minimally invasive spinal surgery. His clinical interests include treating cervical and lumbar disc disease, spinal tumours, craniocervical junction abnormalities and related spinal conditions.
Mr Abou-Zeid plays an active role in medical education and postgraduate training at Salford Royal and has published numerous papers in peer-reviewed medical journals. He is registered with the General Medical Council and speaks both Arabic and English.
