Mr Marsh is an accomplished consultant orthopaedic surgeon, specialising in foot and ankle surgery, non-union fracture surgery, and trauma surgery. His educational journey began at the University of Birmingham Medical School, followed by higher surgical training on the South West Thames/St George's Rotation, where he collaborated with internationally recognised surgeons.
Advanced fellowship-level training in trauma and foot and ankle surgery in New Zealand marked a significant phase in Mr Marsh's career, leading to his recognition as a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons (Trauma and Orthopaedics) in 2005. From 2007 to 2016, he served as a consultant at the Dudley Group of Hospitals before transitioning to the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham. In his current role, Mr Marsh is a full-time trauma surgeon and the service lead for the Major Trauma Service. His professional interests extend to diabetic foot surgery, trauma, and post-traumatic reconstruction.
Actively engaged in the field, Mr Marsh contributes to the West Midlands Deanery Higher Training Committee for Trauma and Orthopaedics and holds membership in the British Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society (BoFAS).
