Prof. Ferro's medical journey began at King's College London, where he studied Medicine from 1978 to 1984. During this period, he achieved a 1st Class Honours intercalated BSc degree in Biochemistry in 1981. Following his qualification as a doctor, he pursued further training in medicine as a junior doctor. His academic pursuits led him to Cambridge University, where he completed a PhD in Clinical Pharmacology, further honing his expertise in cardiovascular research.
