Miss Alex Lawrence is a Consultant Gynaecological Oncologist at St Bartholomew's and the Royal London Hospital. She also sees patients privately at the London Bridge Hospital.
Miss Lawrence graduated from Edinburgh University and trained in gynaecology at Queen Charlotte's and Chelsea Hospital. She then completed an MD at King's College Hospital, focusing on the use of ultrasound and mathematical modelling in the diagnosis of ovarian cancer.
Miss Lawrence completed her sub-specialty training in gynaecological oncology at the Hammersmith Hospital and was appointed Consultant at Barts and the London in 2009. She has a particular interest in minimally invasive surgery and fertility preservation in gynaecological cancer. Other specialist areas of interest include abnormal bleeding, abnormal smear tests and colposcopy, fibroids, endometriosis, minimal access surgery, hysteroscopy, and ultrasound.
Miss Lawrence is highly skilled in a range of procedures and treatments, including fibroid removal, colposcopy, hysteroscopy, and ultrasound. She is an expert in treating conditions such as cervical cancer, ovarian cancer, fibroids, endometriosis, and abnormal bleeding.
