Mr Alex Leo is a Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon at Northwick Park and St Mark's Hospital. He then pursued advanced training in General and Colorectal Surgery, earning his Medical Doctorate cum laude in General Surgery from the University of Udine, along with a diploma in General Surgery. Following this, he relocated to the UK to work as a specialist registrar at St. Mark's Hospital, where he completed a fellowship in Neuromodulation and Physiology under the guidance of Miss Carolynne Vaizey.
Since his appointment as a Consultant at Northwick Park and St Mark's Hospital, Mr Leo has also earned a Medical Doctorate from Imperial College London for his research on the treatment and diagnosis of faecal incontinence. He has published numerous scientific research papers on colorectal disorders and pelvic floor conditions and has presented his research at various national and international conferences and meetings.
