About Dr Alex Strachan

Dr Alex Strachan is an experienced and compassonate General Practitioner with over 30 years of clinical experience in diverse primary care settings. She has a proven ability to diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions, with a strong focus on preventative care, patient education and a holistic health mix. Skilled in building long term patient relationships and working collaberatively within MDT's, special interests in womens health, paediatrics and palliative care.
Dr Strachan obtained her medical degree from Imperial College London in 1994. After qualifying she worked her way through the NHS system and became a senior partner in her NHS practice in London.
At Barnes Private Practice, she works very closely with Dr Alain Palacci, providing services that are accessible 24-hours a day, 7-days a week for their registered patients.
