Dr Alexander T Tidswell is a highly esteemed Consultant Clinical Neurophysiologist based in London. With over 14 years of experience as an NHS Consultant, he has developed substantial expertise in diagnosing peripheral neuromuscular disorders, as well as acquired or inherited nerve, muscle, or neuromuscular junction disorders.
Dr Tidswell currently serves as the Head of the Department of Clinical Neurophysiology at the Royal Free London NHS Foundation Trust. His extensive training in Clinical Neurophysiology was completed at several prestigious institutions, including University College London Hospitals (UCLH), the National Hospital for Neurology and Neurosurgery, and Great Ormond Street Hospital.
In his role, Dr Tidswell is dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and advancing the field of neurophysiology. His areas of expertise include electromyography (EMG), nerve conduction studies (NCS), and the diagnosis and management of conditions such as myasthenia gravis, muscular dystrophies, and peripheral neuropathies.
