Dr Ali Mahmood is a highly accomplished General Practitioner with over two decades of experience in the healthcare industry. He holds a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree, is fully registered with the General Medical Council (GMC) with a license to practice, and is a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners (MRCGP). Dr Mahmood is also Mental Health Act Section 12 approved doctor with experience in mental health, addictions and mental capacity assessments.

Dr Mahmood began his medical career in 1998 and has been practicing in the UK since 2006. Over the last five years, he has worked in various GP roles, including regular GP surgeries, out-of-hours services, and urgent care centers. His experience spans across NHS and private healthcare settings, insurance services, online video and telephone consultations, and home visits.

Dr Mahmood has extensive specialty experience, having worked in Accident & Emergency, General Medicine, Cardiology, Trauma and Orthopaedics, Gynaecology and Obstetrics, Care of the Elderly, Psychiatry, Nephrology, General Surgery, and Addictions. Dr Mahmood’s special interests include the management of acute and chronic illnesses, paediatrics, mental health, alcohol and substance misuse, travel vaccinations, health screening, preventive health, and microsuction.
