Dr Ali Mohammed is a Consultant Respiratory and General Physician based in London. He has extensive experience in managing a wide range of respiratory diseases, including complex cases. Dr Mohammed is a specialist thoracic and pleural ultrasound (USS) and endobronchial ultrasound (EBUS) operator and trainer.

Dr Mohammed qualified from Baghdad Medical School in 1996 and has been working in the UK since 1999. He completed his postgraduate training in Respiratory and General (Internal) Medicine in Edinburgh at several renowned respiratory centres. After finishing his training in Edinburgh, he moved to London in 2010.

Currently, Dr Mohammed serves as the Clinical Lead for the lung cancer and pleural disease service, as well as the bronchoscopy and EBUS services at Whipps Cross University Hospital, which is part of the Barts Health NHS Trust. He is also the Lead Clinician for clinical governance within the respiratory department.

In addition to his clinical work, Dr Mohammed is actively involved in teaching both undergraduates and postgraduates within the London Deanery. He is an examiner for the Royal Colleges of Physicians for the PACES MRCP part 2 examinations. Furthermore, Dr Mohammed is a well-respected medico-legal witness expert in the field of respiratory medicine.

Dr Mohammed's areas of expertise include bronchoscopy, EBUS, asthma, bronchitis, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), lung cancer, pleural effusion, pneumonia, pulmonary vascular disease, sarcoidosis, sleep disorders, and troublesome cough. He has been a dedicated member of the medical community since his appointment in 2010.
