Mr Aman Khanna is a consultant in ear, nose and throat (ENT / otolaryngology), practising in Birmingham within both NHS and private settings. He is a specialist in rhinology and facial plastics, focusing on disorders of the nose, sinuses and related structures. He treats conditions such as nasal obstruction, chronic sinus disease, snoring, deviated or bent nose, voice disorders, ear problems, and throat complaints. His procedural strengths include functional endoscopic sinus surgery (FESS), septorhinoplasty (with grafts or implants), balloon sinuplasty, adenoidectomy, tonsillectomy, grommet insertion, and selected facial plastic and reconstructive techniques. He also undertakes interventions such as skin lesion removal and ear correction.

He qualified in 2005 after studying medicine at the University of Leicester, where he also completed a BSc (Honours). He went on to obtain MRCS and the FRCS (ORL-HNS) along with further specialist training in otolaryngology and head & neck surgery. He completed advanced fellowship training in rhinology and facial plastic surgery at Charing Cross Hospital in London.

He is appointed as a consultant in 2016 and works within University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Trust, with private practice sessions at The Harborne Hospital and other local independent hospitals. In his academic and teaching roles, he acts as the ENT undergraduate year 4 curriculum lead at the University of Birmingham Medical School and is a clinical simulation tutor at University Hospitals Birmingham. He contributes as faculty to national and international courses in rhinology, endoscopic sinus surgery, cadaveric dissection and simulation-based training. He is actively involved in clinical audit and research in ENT, publishing in peer reviewed journals, with an aim to improve patient outcomes and surgical techniques. He uses he/him pronouns. Outside clinical work, he enjoys outdoor pursuits and values quality time with family.
