Dr Amit Bhan is a consultant cardiologist at Barts Heart Centre and an honorary consultant cardiologist at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. He qualified from St Barts and the Royal London Medical School (Queen Mary and Westfield University) and obtained his MD(Res) degree from Kings College London.

Dr Bhan undertook specialist registrar training in cardiology in hospitals across the South-East and London, followed by subspecialist congenital heart disease training at The Royal Brompton, Guy's and St Thomas', and Great Ormond Street Hospitals. After completing his training, he undertook a fellowship in catheter intervention for structural and congenital heart disease at Barts Heart Centre, where he took up a consultant position in 2017.

Dr Amit Bhan is an expert in interventional cardiology with a special interest in the treatment of congenital heart diseases. He is actively involved in clinical research and has co-authored numerous publications in the field of interventional cardiology.

In his role, Dr Bhan performs a variety of procedures aimed at treating structural and congenital heart conditions. His areas of expertise include catheter-based interventions, which are minimally invasive procedures used to diagnose and treat heart conditions.
