About Dr Andy King
Dr Andy King is a highly experienced consultant radiologist with a special interest in gastrointestinal and hepatobiliary imaging. He is based at The Wellington Hospital and The Harley Street Clinic, where he works as part of multidisciplinary teams providing advanced diagnostic services. His work supports a wide range of medical and surgical specialities, including liver and pancreatic surgery, oncology, and inflammatory bowel disease.
He is a recognised expert in CT colonography, liver MRI, and multiparametric prostate MRI. In addition to general radiology, he regularly performs specialist cross-sectional imaging for liver, pancreatic, and colorectal conditions. His clinical practice also includes image-guided procedures such as ultrasound and CT-guided biopsies, drainages, and tumour ablations.

He contributes actively to MDT meetings and supports clinical decision-making through high-quality imaging interpretation.
His professional interests also include radiology education and service development. He has been involved in training junior doctors and radiology trainees, and continues to support the expansion of radiological services across both NHS and private sectors.
