Dr Anna Panagiotidou is a Consultant Peripheral Nerve Surgeon in London. She practices at The Wellington Hospital, part of HCA Healthcare UK, specialising in the diagnosis and surgical management of peripheral nerve injuries. Fluent in both English and Greek, she is dedicated to offering exceptional care to a diverse range of patients.
She graduated from UCL Medical School in 2006, having completed an intercalated BSc in Pharmacology with honours in 2004. Specialising in trauma and orthopaedics through the UCLH Specialist Training Programme, she earned a PhD in Orthopaedic Surgery from UCL in 2018 after successfully defending her thesis.
Her postdoctoral journey included a distinguished fellowship at the renowned Peripheral Nerve Injury Unit, culminating in her consultant role. As the current department clinical lead, Anna is dedicated to advancing research and education in this specialised field. She serves as an academic and educational supervisor for the next generation of orthopaedic surgeons, and her dedication to medical education has earned her consecutive nominations as Trainee of the Year.
Outside of work, Anna is passionate about cooking and enjoys entertaining friends. She also loves playing tennis and participates in marathon running, reflecting her commitment to a balanced and healthy lifestyle.
