Dr Ansu Basu is a consultant endocrinologist specialising in diabetes, endocrinology and lipid metabolism. they practise privately at The Harborne Hospital (part of HCA Healthcare UK) and BMI The Priory Hospital in Edgbaston, Birmingham.

They were appointed consultant physician at Sandwell and West Birmingham Hospitals NHS Trust in 2003 and have over 20 years’ experience in the NHS; they also serve as an honorary associate professor at the University of Birmingham.
