Mr Ashish Sinha is a highly qualified laparoscopic Consultant Colorectal and General Surgeon, as well as an Honorary Clinical Senior Lecturer at Imperial College, London. He graduated in medicine in 2004 from the University of Nottingham and has been on the specialist register for General Surgery since 2016. Mr Sinha trained in surgery in the London south-east Thames rotation and completed a post-CCT fellowship at the renowned St Mark's Hospital before his consultant appointment.
Mr Sinha's areas of expertise include colorectal surgery, general surgery, and laparoscopic surgery. He is proficient in performing procedures such as colonoscopy, hernia repair, and pilonidal surgery. His clinical interests extend to treating conditions like colorectal cancer, inflammatory bowel disease, fistula-in-ano, haemorrhoids, anal fissure, and pilonidal sinus.
In addition to his clinical roles, Mr Sinha has a strong research background. His research interests encompass surgical oncology, inherited bowel cancer syndromes, polyposis, and emergency general surgery. His research fellowship with the Polyposis Registry at St Mark's Hospital led to him being awarded an MD (Research) from Imperial College, London.
