Mr Ashraf Messiha is a Consultant Maxillofacial Surgeon at St George's University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He holds dual qualifications in dentistry and medicine and has undergone extensive training in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at prestigious institutions including St George's Hospital, Northwick Park Hospital (Imperial), Kent and Canterbury University Hospital, Queen Victoria Hospital (East Grinstead), and the Royal Surrey County Hospital. Mr Messiha successfully passed the FRCS exam in oral and maxillofacial surgery and has subspecialised in facial deformities. He has also received advanced training in facial aesthetics, particularly in facial reanimation and septorhinoplasty.

Mr Messiha has a wealth of professional experience. He initially served as a Consultant at Northwick Park Hospital and St Mary's London University Hospital, where he developed services in post-traumatic facial deformity and led facial trauma surgery, facial skin cancers, and orofacial rehabilitation. He later moved to St George's Hospital, Ashford and St Peter's Hospitals, and is now a core member of the Cranio-Orbito-Facial Deformity Multidisciplinary Team as well as the Joint Orthognathic Team. He is actively involved in teaching and serves as the Educational Lead for the Pan London Oral and Maxillofacial Faculty at the London Deanery.

Mr Messiha specialises in facial deformity, orthognathic surgery, TMJ surgery and replacements, rhinoplasty, and obstructive apnoea surgery. He is also an expert in oral surgery and implantology, including the placement of zygomatic implants and multiple implants in complex cases.

Mr Messiha has a keen interest in clinical research and has supervised numerous projects in surgical anatomy.
