    Mr Asit Arora runs a specialist tertiary ear, nose and throat (ENT) referral practice in Airway Head & Neck Cancer Surgery at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals, London. He treats all forms of ENT diseases in adults and children. His clinical interests are in head & neck, paediatric ENT, robotic surgery, thyroid, parathyroid gland tumours and sleep disordered breathing. He is an international authority and a UK pioneer in minimal invasive head and neck surgery and tracheostomy.

    Mr Arora has extensive clinical, research, education and training experience. He studied medicine at Manchester Medical School graduating in 1998 with Honours and the best research student award. He gained membership of the Royal College of Surgeons England in 2003 and became its fellow in 2015. He has completed three Head & Neck fellowships in globally renowned centres. He established the first training program for transoral robotic surgery (TORS) in the UK.

    Mr Arora’s PhD at Imperial College London revolved around TORS and culminated in multiple clinical trials, 15 peer-review publications, 6 prestigious research prizes and 4 research grants. Overall, he has to his credit over 45 peer-reviewed publications, 2 specialist text books in ENT Head & Neck Surgery, 30 abstracts, 9 book chapters, 10 research awards, 25 invited national/international lectures, over 90 national/international presentations and 1.1 million pounds in grants.

    Mr Arora is globally recognised for his work in healthcare quality improvement, having founded the Global Tracheostomy Collaborative, a network of top healthcare institutions from across the world. The Collaborative has been recognised by The National Institute for Health as an exemplar for patient safety. He is the founder or director of 7 postgraduate courses, including the globally recognised London Head & Neck Dissection course.
