Mr Babak Arvin is a Consultant Neurosurgeon with a specialist interest in spine surgery. He has extensive expertise in complex spine surgery, cervical spine diseases and disorders, cervical spondylosis, degenerative spine disease, spinal tumours, and spinal trauma.

Mr Arvin obtained his medical degree from St Mary’s Hospital, Imperial College, and completed his surgical training in London. He further honed his skills by undertaking two fellowships in complex spine and trauma surgery in Toronto, Canada, and Melbourne, Australia.

In addition to his clinical practice, Mr Arvin holds a PhD and maintains an active research portfolio. He has been a full-time consultant at Queens Hospital for Barking, Havering and Redbridge University NHS Trust since his appointment.

Mr Arvin is proficient in a wide range of medical tests and treatments, including complex revision spinal surgery, minimally invasive spinal surgery, surgery for myelopathy, and artificial disc replacement. He is also skilled in cervical (neck) surgery, discectomy, epidural injection, kyphoplasty, laminectomy, lumbar back surgery, nerve root injection, spinal decompression, spinal fusion, spine fracture surgery, and thoracic back surgery.
