Barbara Faissola is a Consultant Radiologist at Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust and St Bartholomew’s Hospital, where she has worked since 2003. She is a specialist in breast screening and symptomatic breast imaging, including MRI, ultrasound and all biopsy techniques. Dr Faissola qualified in Turin (Italy) in 1990, and was appointed there as a Consultant Radiologist in 1995, developing a special interest in breast disease diagnosis. She broadened her expertise in breast radiology working as a Consultant at the European Institute of Oncology in Milan from 2000 to 2003. She has participated in the National Health Service Breast Screening programme since 1999 (in Italy and the UK).
Dr Faissola has been a member of the team at 108 X-ray and imaging since 2010.
