Miss Bareen Shah has been the Lead Clinician for Breast and Endocrine surgery since taking her consultant appointment at Ealing Hospital, now part of North West London Hospitals Trust, and also works at Charing Cross Hospital. She has a specialist interest in all aspects of thyroid and parathyroid surgery including dealing with complex recurrent disease and minimally invasive parathyroidectomy. She also runs a rapid access diagnostic service at The London Breast Clinic, 108 Harley Street.
Miss Shah qualified from Charing Cross Hospital Medical School and was trained on the Westminster surgical rotation. She completed her surgical training in breast and endocrine surgery in 2003. She is an ex-president of the Royal Society of Medicine’s clinical section and is currently on the Section of Surgery Committee at the RSM.
Miss Shah is a committed teacher of undergraduates and postgraduates and a sought-after surgical trainer. She has been part of the Steering Group for surgery for the London Cancer Alliance. She gives regular talks at religious establishments - temples and mosques - regarding early presentation in both breast and neck disease.
