Ms Cara Baker is a consultant upper gastrointestinal and general surgeon based at Guy's and St Thomas' NHS Trust. Private patients can book consultations with Ms Baker at HCA London Bridge Hospital.

Ms Baker's specialist areas include hernias, skin lesions, gallstones, gastro-oesophageal reflux, oesophageal cancer, and stomach cancer. She also has expertise in upper GI endoscopy and both open and laparoscopic surgery.

Ms Baker qualified in 2002 from the University of London after completing a PhD in biochemistry. Following her qualification, she participated in general surgery rotations in London and Surrey. She completed her surgical training and was appointed as a general surgery consultant at Frimley Park in 2013.
