I am a clinical cardiologist. In the last 20 years I have performed in Rotterdam, Milan and London more than 4,000 coronary angioplasties, pioneering the use of techniques such as intravascular ultrasound, intracoronary Doppler, intracoronary pressure measurement, embolic protection, covered and drug eluting stents in complex lesions, recanalisation of chronic total occlusion, alcohol ablation for obstructive hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, carotid and renal stenting.
