Dr Claire Martyn-Simmons is a Consultant Dermatologist at University College Hospital, London. She serves as the Clinical Lead for Dermatology and the Lead Clinician for the adolescent and Medical Dermatology services. Her special interests include general dermatology, psoriasis, blistering skin conditions, adolescent dermatology, and skin cancers.

Dr Martyn-Simmons completed her undergraduate medical training at University College London (UCL) and her general medicine training at King's College Hospital. She pursued her specialist dermatology training at both Kings College Hospital and St John's Institute of Dermatology at St Thomas Hospital. Upon completion of her specialist training, she undertook a clinical fellowship in Medical Dermatology with an emphasis on psoriasis and blistering skin conditions, together with a research degree in psoriasis at St John's Institute of Dermatology.

Dr Martyn-Simmons is highly skilled in skin cancer screening and skin cancer surgery. She treats a variety of conditions including psoriasis, medical and complex dermatosis, paediatric and adolescent dermatology, skin cancers, and blistering skin conditions. She has been practising as a consultant since 2008 and is a member of the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP).

In her role, Dr Martyn-Simmons is dedicated to providing comprehensive care to her patients, ensuring they receive the most advanced and effective treatments available. Her commitment to dermatology is evident in her ongoing research and clinical practice, making her a leading specialist in her field.
