Mr Conal Austin is a highly esteemed consultant cardiothoracic surgeon based at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital, with a private practice at London Bridge Hospital. He has been serving in this role since his appointment in 1995. Mr Austin's areas of expertise encompass paediatric, neonatal, infant, and adult congenital surgical cases. He is particularly renowned for his proficiency in paediatric vascular conservative repairs, minimal access paediatric cardiac repairs, and intra-operative 3D echocardiography.
Mr Austin has a special interest in PEARS (Personalised External Aortic Root Support), a cutting-edge technique in cardiac surgery.
