Mr Dan Nguyen is a Consultant Ophthalmic Surgeon and the Lead Clinician for Glaucoma at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. He graduated from the University of Bristol Medical School and began his training at St. Paul’s Eye Unit at the Royal Liverpool Hospital and the Bristol Eye Hospital. Mr Nguyen has completed prestigious glaucoma fellowships at the Bristol Eye Hospital and the Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital in Melbourne, Australia.

Mr Nguyen deals with a full range of general ophthalmic conditions, with special interests in customised cataract surgery and comprehensive glaucoma medicine. He regularly publishes research in peer-reviewed medical journals and lectures in the field of ophthalmology. Additionally, he is a reviewer for several ophthalmic journals and maintains research interests in neuroprotection and translational research. He holds an honorary research position at the Centre for Eye Research Australia (CERA) at the University of Melbourne and is an examiner for the College of Optometrists.

Mr Nguyen is highly skilled in various procedures and treatments, including cataract surgery, glaucoma surgery, laser treatment, and glaucoma medicine. He has been serving at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust since his appointment and continues to contribute significantly to the field of ophthalmology.
