    Mr David Johnston is an experienced Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT) consultant and surgeon. He conducts his private outpatient clinics at the Spire Hospital, Harpenden, and has admitting rights to the Cobham Clinic. He specialises in paediatric ENT/sinus surgery and treating patients suffering from dizziness. He conducts adenoid and tonsil removal in both children and adults, clearing of the sinuses, ear drum repair, ear surgery (middle ear), ear wax removal (syringing and miscrosuction), insertion of grommets, nasal polyp removal, nose surgery (for blocked nose), nose swelling removal, parotid gland removal, sinus surgery, snoring surgery, tongue tie operation and voicebox/vocal chord examination by camera.

    After qualifying in medicine from the University of Manchester in 1981, Mr Johnston trained in surgery at St Andrews and Manchester University, and his registrar training was at Guy's Hospital, London. He was also a Senior Fellow in Otolaryngology in Seattle, USA. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, England, Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh and a Member of British Association of Otolaryngology.
