Ms Deepa Janga is a highly experienced consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist, specialising in acute and benign gynaecology, foetal medicine, high-risk obstetrics, and minimal access surgery. With many years of dedicated practice, she provides expert care to private patients at the BMI Three Shires Hospital.
Ms Janga obtained her primary medical qualification from the University of Health Sciences, India, before pursuing further training in the North East Central London Maternity Unit in London. During her training, she gained comprehensive knowledge and skills in managing a diverse range of patients. She also attained her Certificate of Completion and Diploma in Sexual and Reproductive Health.
In 2013, Ms Janga was appointed as a consultant, where she served as the perinatal lead until 2018. During this time, she played a crucial role in overseeing the perinatal unit and served as a principal investigator for numerous multicentre clinical trials focusing on preeclampsia. Additionally, she is passionate about medical education and has been recognised as "Trainer of the Year" by the North Central East London Deanery. Furthermore, Ms Janga serves as an examiner for UCL Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists exams.
