My training as a Senior House Officer in East Anglia on the Norwich rotation took me through James Paget Hospital, Ipswich Hospital, and the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital. My higher specialist training was completed at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital, Southend General Hospital and Ipswich Hospital. I had my undergraduate training at JIPMER, which is an institution of national repute in India
I follow cricket and hockey, having played both at a decent level in my younger days. I have a keen interest in the history of ancient India and a particular interest in how the practice of medicine developed in India through the centuries
