Miss Denise Watson-Tann is an esteemed Advanced Practice Physiotherapist specialising in paediatric orthopaedics with over 35 years of experience. Based at The Portland Hospital, Miss Watson-Tann is a key member of The London Clubfoot Clinic, working closely with Consultant Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeon, Ms. Naomi Davis.
Miss Watson-Tann has dedicated their career to treating clubfoot and lower limb deformities in children. With 20 years of expertise in the Ponseti method, Miss Watson-Tann had the unique opportunity to meet Dr Ponseti in 2004, further enriching their practice and knowledge.
In her role, Miss Watson-Tann collaborates with various Consultant Paediatric Orthopaedic Surgeons who refer patients for specialist casting of lower limb issues. Additionally, Miss Watson-Tann networks with Paediatric Physiotherapists to ensure comprehensive rehabilitation following corrective casting when necessary.
Miss Watson-Tann also has extensive experience working with Orthotists to enhance function post-intervention, whether through casting or surgery. Their approach to treatment is holistic and child-centred, ensuring that each patient receives tailored and compassionate care.
