Mr Dudley Robinson is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a subspecialty interest in Urogynaecology, based at King's College Hospital. He also sees patients privately at The Princess Grace Hospital and the Harley Street Clinic. Mr Robinson trained at the Royal London Hospital, qualifying in Medicine with MBBS in 1991. He completed a three-year research fellowship with Professor Linda Cardozo in the King's College Department of Urogynaecology, focusing on the effect of hormones and drugs on the lower urinary tract. His MD thesis at the University of London was entitled, ‘Anti-diuresis in the management of daytime urinary incontinence.’
Mr Robinson was appointed as a Consultant in July 2005 and as Honorary Senior Lecturer at Kings College London in 2009. He became a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists in 2010. He is also a fellow of the Royal Society of Medicine and a Member of the Council for the Obstetrics and Gynaecology Section. He is active in teaching both undergraduates and postgraduates and lectures regularly in the UK and internationally. He is on the editorial board of the International Urogynaecology Journal and has published numerous peer-reviewed papers, articles, and book chapters. He has co-authored two books on urinary incontinence.
Mr Robinson is a member of several professional societies, including the International Continence Society, the British Society of Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology, the UK Continence Society, the British Society of Urogynaecology, the International Urogynaecology Association, and the European Urogynaecology Association. His areas of expertise include Uro-gynaecology, Colposcopy, and the investigation of lower urinary tract dysfunction. He treats conditions such as stress urinary incontinence, overactive bladder, and urogenital prolapse.
